Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Buffalo Gutter Shield (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides gutter cleaning, gutter guard installation and repair, seamless gutter installation, downspout repair, ice dam removal, and related exterior maintenance services to residential and commercial properties in the Buffalo, NY metro area. The specific scope of each visit is confirmed by phone or in writing before work begins.

2. Scheduling & Property Access

Appointments are scheduled by phone, text, or through our website. You agree to provide reasonable access to your property, including ladder access to all sides of the home, for the scheduled visit. If access is blocked (a locked gate, an unleashed pet, a parked vehicle) and we’re unable to complete the job, a trip fee may apply to reschedule.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless a recurring maintenance plan or commercial invoicing arrangement has been agreed to in advance. We accept the payment methods listed at booking. Quoted prices are honored for the scope agreed to; any additional work (such as repairs discovered on-site) is priced separately and confirmed with you before we proceed.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a visit at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less notice, or a missed appointment where the crew arrives and cannot gain access, may be subject to a trip fee to cover crew time and travel.

5. Weather Policy

Gutter work is weather-dependent. We may reschedule a visit for safety reasons during active storms, high winds, or ice conditions that make ladder or roof-adjacent work unsafe. We’ll contact you as early as possible to reschedule at no additional cost.

6. Satisfaction & Re-Clean Policy

Every cleaning is covered by our satisfaction guarantee: if debris is found within 14 days of a completed job, we return and clear it at no charge. Full details are on our Our Guarantee page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Liability & Property

We carry general liability insurance covering ladder and roof-adjacent work. If our crew causes damage to your property during a scheduled visit, we will repair or replace the affected item. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, structural issues unrelated to our scope of work, or damage caused by conditions we could not reasonably have identified in advance (concealed rot, for example).

8. Photos & Media

We take before-and-after photos of completed work for quality verification and may, with your permission, use non-identifying job photos in our marketing materials, case studies, or website. You may opt out of marketing use of your property’s photos at any time by telling your crew or calling us directly.

9. Website Use

Content on buffaloguttercleaner.com, including pricing information, is provided for general guidance and may change without notice. Final pricing for your property is confirmed at the time of booking or inspection.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
